Due to the Covid-19 outbreak we are Cancelling the 2020 Encore Uhler Sports Medicine Symposium

ENCORE REHABILITATION SALUTES THE MEMORY OF KEVIN UHLER, ATC/L,

AND ENCORE EMPLOYEE SINCE 2006. IN 2008, HE WAS A FOUNDER OF THE

ENCORE SPORTS MEDICINE SYMPOSIUM, WHICH PROVIDES A FORMAT FOR

INNOVATIVE IDEAS FROM SOME OF THE NATION’S LEADING PHYSICIANS,

COACHES, AND SPORTS MEDICINE PROFESSIONALS.

KEVIN WAS A NATIVE OF MARYLAND AND A GRADUATE OF THE UNIVERSITY

OF MARYLAND. HE WAS AN EXPERIENCED ATHLETIC TRAINER IN SCHOOLS,

HOSPITALS, AND SPORTS MEDICINE INSTITUTIONS IN OHIO AND MARYLAND

BEFORE MOVING TO ALABAMA IN 2006 WITH HIS WIFE, TERI, AND SON T.J.

WHILE WITH ENCORE, KEVIN PROVIDED ATHLETIC TRAINING FOR WALLACE

STATE COMMUNITY COLLEGE, COLD SPRINGS HIGH SCHOOL, ADDISON HIGH

SCHOOL, AND ST. BERNARD PREP SCHOOL.KEVIN’S GRACIOUS SMILE AND LEADERSHIP WILL BE GREATLY MISSED.

Terry John Uhler:
I would like to say as home being my dad and that he was the best dad it has been 3 years since his passing and I wish he was here to know he was the founder of a symposium.

Chasity Bates:
Kevin was such a kind-hearted person. He was always thinking about everyone else and always did things to help people out. His face lit up everytime he mentioned his son TJ and his wife Teri. He loved his job, but he loved his family even more. I'm so thankful that I had the privilege to work with him. Kevin will forever be missed by everyone who knew him.

Phil McDaniel:
I met and worked directly with Kevin a very short time. I was totally shocked to learn of his untimely passing. I'm delighted that his legacy is accredited by Encore and its so exciting to see this educational venture prospering and growing each year. May God richly bless his family and continue to provide grace each day for all his loved ones that are here on Earth.

Terry Rock:
A wonderful tribute to a dedicated and well loved man. Kevin was a wonderful son-in-law. He dearly loved his wife Teri and his son TJ, and the Uhler family. Kevin showed each of us that loving your job and devotion to help others are admirable traits for each of us to observe. Also, they surely pleased God.

Teri Uhler:
Kevin loved his job and Encore. In fact, Kevin loved everybody and life. Kevin was a great dad, husband, son, brother, uncle, coworker and friend. We will miss him greatly!
